Born in Sukhumi to Marina Solomonia and Nugzar Chikovani, two notable Georgian actors, Tatia and her family fled the war in Abkhasia and resettled in Tbilisi when she was one year old.

Tatia gained attention as early as age seven with her orchestral debut alongside the Georgian Symphonic Orchestra. She frequently performed and became a prominent soloist at the Z. Paliashvili State Opera & Theatre, laying the foundation for a career marked by artistic depth and ambition. Under the expert guidance of Rusudan Begishvili, she graduated with honors from the Central Musical Gymnasium and received a full scholarship to the V. Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatory.

In 2013, Tatia moved to Norway to study at the Norwegian Academy of Music and later graduated as "Master of Music Performance (Solo Instrument)". She has performed and competed internationally, including in Tenerife, where she won an award at the I Agustín Aponte International Music Competition, and at festival venues such as the Evmelia International Music Festival in Athens and Volos, Greece. Through mentorship from distinguished musicians like Jens Harald Bratlie, Kathryn Stott, Liv Glaser, and Håvard Gimse, she developed an expressive style that captivates both audiences and critics. Together with Liv Glaser, she performed a concert dedicated to the later works of Franz Schubert.

In 2020, Tatia was a guest pianist at the Norwegian Academy of Music, where she has collaborated with renowned composers, conductors, and performers, including Wolfgang Plagge, with whom she has given critically acclaimed concerts throughout Norway. At festivals such as the Sunnmøre Chamber Music Festival, her performances and masterclasses have received glowing reviews, confirming her status as a dynamic stage personality.

From 2021 onward, Tatia's international engagements increased further. She led a captivating four-hand piano concert in Macedonia with Professor Dino Imeri, followed by participation in the Berlin Orchestra Workshop dedicated to Osvaldo Pugliese. Her passionate renditions of Astor Piazzolla has also been received to great acclaim from audiences at the Steinway Piano Gallery and Gallery A in Oslo - experiences that have led to upcoming duet events in Latvia and Estonia with accordionist Roberto Palermo.

Tatia is also involved in charitable causes. She has organized a free concert series to raise funds for a grand piano for the Hareid municipality’s prayer house. Additionally, she actively participates in historical commemorations, such as the memorial evening dedicated to the Holocaust at Oslo City Hall.

Tatia has performed with the Royal Norwegian Navy Band at Horten Church and took part in a concert series at the Minister of Defence’s Gala Concert on the main stage of Oslo Concert Hall. There, she performed pieces with the orchestra and the renowned Norwegian composer and bandoneon player Per Arne Glorvigen.

Her most recent and ongoing engagements are in Riga’s prestigious House of the Black Heads, where she has presented both solo, duo, and trio repertoire. The 7th of February, she will return to the same venue with a new solo program and a duo performance together with the virtuoso violinist Alexsey Kolesnikov.

On the 13th of May, Tatia is also invited to perform as a soloist at Oslo Concert Hall small venue. Later in May, she will also perform at Dzintari Concert Hall in Jurmala, Latvia.
